What is Fies?
Fies is a program that allows students to pay the tuition fees for their higher education courses over longer periods of time. Therefore, it is possible to finance these amounts and continue paying part of the expenses after graduation.
Finally, it is worth highlighting that, although this benefit focuses on low-income people, they are not the only ones who can sign up. If you want to know what the requirements are, continue reading.
How does Fies work?
Fies uses the Enem score and a candidate's financial data to define how financing will be provided. For example: choosing details such as payment deadline and installment amount.
As the program charges zero interest, the student only has to pay the amount of all monthly fees and can divide this into as many installments as possible.
Who is entitled to Fies?
Firstly, to register for Fies a candidate must have taken the Enem after 2010. At the same time, it is also necessary to have achieved at least 450 in all subjects and not have completed the essay at zero.
Finally, with regard to the financial requirement, it is necessary to have a family income of up to 3 minimum wages per person.
