How does the Aeronautics competition work?
First of all, we need to highlight that the Air Force competition has some differences when compared to the selection process for other public positions.
Therefore, the competition begins with a written test with questions on Portuguese, Mathematics, English and Physics.
It is worth remembering that, depending on the position chosen, the content of the English test will be more advanced or basic.
Successful candidates must then undergo a health inspection, psychological assessment and physical fitness test.
Those who pass all these stages can be called up and fill the available vacancies.
What are the competition dates?
It is important to be aware of the deadlines for the Air Force competition. Therefore, we have created a list with the main dates for this selection process!
Firstly, registrations will take place between 23/02 and 15/03. Then, the registration fee must be paid by 22/03.
The written exam stage will be held on 06/04 and the first call for a new meeting with the candidates approved for the next stage will take place on 07/11.
Health and psychological exams will be carried out between 25/07 and 11/08. Approved candidates must take the physical exam between 19/09 and 22/09.
Finally, people who pass all stages of the exam must enroll and start the course on 1/11/24.

What are the positions and vacancies in the competition?
People approved in the Air Force Competition will enter as Non-Commissioned Officers and Sergeants.
All successful candidates will complete a training course lasting 2 years. They will then be able to work in the role they applied for when registering.

- Aircraft Mechanic: 48 vacancies for general competition and 12 reserved;
- War Material: 13 vacancies for general competition and 3 reserved;
- Electricity and Instruments: 13 vacancies for general competition and 3 reserved;
- Structure and Painting: 8 vacancies for general competition and 2 reserved;
- Flight equipment: 10 vacancies for general competition and 2 reserved;
- Supplies: 11 vacancies for general competition and 3 reserved;
- Guard and Security: 24 vacancies for general competition and 6 reserved;
- Air Traffic Control: 68 vacancies for open competition and 17 reserved.
What is the remuneration and benefits?
Throughout the course, the student will receive a grant of R$1,066.00 in addition to full meals, accommodation, uniforms, medical and dental assistance.
Finally, after the classes are over and the role begins, the salary becomes R$3,825.00 with other benefits.
Who can take the Air Force exam?
To participate in the Air Force competition, you must, first of all, be a Brazilian citizen and be over 18 years old, or have authorization from your guardians.
At the same time, candidates must also pay the registration fee of R$ 80.00 and receive approval at all stages of the competition.
What is the syllabus of the tests?
As mentioned earlier in this text, the content of the English tests for the Air Force competition varies according to the desired position.
Therefore, if the candidate chooses the Air Traffic Control position, he/she will have to answer advanced English questions. On the other hand, all other candidates will have to take basic level tests.
