What is a young apprentice?

The Federal Government created the young apprentice program, this is a law that obliges medium and large companies to hire people aged between 14 and 24.
To apply for one of these vacancies you must be in high school or have already finished it. The company must monitor the worker's school attendance and grades; if there is a drop in performance, the contract may end.
How does the young apprentice program work?
A young apprentice's contract can last up to 2 years. This professional can act as an assistant in the company, helping an employee with a permanent position in the company.
At the same time, in addition to working, young people also need to complete a load of theoretical activities. Therefore, it is necessary to attend courses or lectures provided by the company.
Finally, this work mode allows the employee to work up to 6 hours a day. Activities cannot be done at the same time as studies.
What are the requirements to be a young apprentice?
Firstly, a young apprentice must be between 14 and 24 years old and be enrolled or have completed high school. If you are still studying, the worker needs to complete the entire course load of his choice and not suffer a loss in attendance or grades.
It is not a requirement to have never worked before. Therefore, even if you already have experience, you can apply for vacancies in this type of work.
Finally, people with disabilities of any age can sign up for the young apprentice program. Therefore, if this is your case, keep an eye out for vacancy opportunities.
What are young people's rights?
